When you donate to AUF, the money will be allocated to ‘most needed fund’ which allows us to focus on where the need is greatest and respond immediately to changing priorities and global situations. It is vital that we are able to spend money where it is most needed at any given time.

However, it is possible for you to specify if you would like your donation to be spent on a particular emergency appeal

If you would like your donation to be linked directly to an AUF project, you can choose to support Projects Direct.

Our donors currently setup regular payments using standing order. We do take Direct Debit payments, therefore standing orders need to be changed by the donor.

If you have changed bank for example, you would have to cancel the current standing order and set up a new standing order from
the bank you wish to make regular donations from. We are working on implementing the Direct Debit system so watch this space!

Thank you for supporting AUF. Your donation is extremely valuable to us, so we’d be grateful of the opportunity to discuss your reasons for cancelling. If you can’t maintain your current level of giving, a small amount would still be very much appreciated. Please email us on info@al-ummahfoundation.org

Please note, for Standing Order donations, you will need to contact your bank directly to cancel. Your bank will only take instruction from you. We would, however be grateful if you could let us know when you have done this, so that we can amend our records. Thank you.

Your donation qualifies for Gift Aid if you pay tax in the UK and have signed the Gift Aid declaration. Every £1 that you donate with Gift Aid is worth £1.25 to AUF at no extra cost to you.

You can sign up to receive free email updates, with regular news of our work and what you can do to support it.

AUF has a 100% donation policy. Every penny goes to charitable causes. The little admin costs that we do have (such as running of the website) is covered by the AUF board members. All board members have day jobs and work on a voluntary basis. In the future, , as we grow and expand our operations, we may use gift aid to cover any costs which will be drawn from our impending Administration pot.

Regular giving is the best way to support AUF. It lets us plan our work more effectively; helping people to improve lives through long-term development programmes. This will enable us to respond to disasters and emergencies while campaigning to achieve lasting change. It also means we have a flexible and reliable stream of donations which wecan always count on. You can set up a regular donation for us to use across all AUF’s operations.
