Restoring Hope and Education in Gaza
In the middle of displacement camps and immense hardship, a simple tent has become a sanctuary. Al Ummah Foundation has partnered with Restless Beings, an organization we have proudly worked alongside for over 10 years to support a tent school in Gaza.
Here, children can sit, learn, and experience a vital sense of normality again. For many of these children, this is the very first time they have ever been able to attend school.
Why Education Can’t Wait
Right now, the school supports 60 children, but the need is overwhelming. We refuse to turn away children who are eager to learn, and with your help and support, we committed to expand the capacity to 180 students. With this has come significate increase in our monthly cost to support the school.
Education does much more than teach academics it protects their dignity, provides emotional healing, and gives them hope when everything else is uncertain. Among these children are the future nurses, doctors, teachers, and leaders who will one day rebuild Gaza.
The school in Gaza is under management of our Partners Restless beings, and together we have committed to support more children in Gaza.
